CSA Challenge

Okay, truthfully this is not a CSA challenge in the normal "Hey, what is this thing and what do I do with it?" way. But, I'm looking for ideas for things I got at the farmers' market, so I figure it's close enough. I ended up buying both cilantro and dill for recipes that I need only a 1/4 cup or so of each. Given that I'm a) currently off the Mexican food courtesy of baby #2 and b) not necessarily a big fan of dill, I'm wondering what else I can do with these herbs while they're fresh. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Not really mexican... but is shrimp also off the menu?

Mmm... Sounds good! So do the Bittman recipes you link to. Shrimp is definitely not off the menu. Thanks!

This is my favorite dill recipe: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/seafood/orange-and-dill-sea-bass/
We made this for Kevin when he visited Ann Arbor ages ago. We usually double the sauce and use whatever white fish looks good at the store....

For the cilantro - I've never tried this, but I would imagine it would make an interesting pesto for on top of fish, or with chicken and/or pasta.

Yum! That fish sounds delish! I'll have to give it a try!

On the dill front, do you like stroganoff? Rachel Ray has a "strogie hoagie" recipe that we both really like that involves dill.

I also like this veal cakes w/ eggplant recipe that has dill: as I recall you're not a veal eater, but any ground meat I think would be fine here.

I like cilantro thrown into just about any Asian recipe (stir fry, Thai curry, etc.) You also could do Thai Chicken Pizza? I like whole fish with scallions, cilantro and ginger as well.
